Craig began his investment industry career nearly 40 years ago, in 1985, at Edward Jones and then joined A.G. Edwards in 1990, upon the opening of their office in St. Joseph, Michigan. He later joined Stifel upon its opening of the St. Joseph office in 2012. Throughout his career, Craig has guided his clients through a variety of market environments. He specializes in helping individuals, families, and business owners, especially those who are nearing or in retirement. Craig and his team help clients navigate the investment process, identifying their current and future financial needs and short- and long-term goals.
Craig utilizes Stifel’s Solutions Program to adapt strategies designed to combine customized investment management with the ability to quickly react to market conditions for clients who choose discretionary advisory services. He holds Series 7, 9 & 10, 63, and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and variable insurance licenses.
Outside of the office, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, Teresa, their children, Cameron and Ashley, and two grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, golf, spending time in his workshop, and was previously an active pilot.
“The financial markets are not only my career, they’re my passion. I hold my client relationships near and dear to my heart, with many friendships spanning multiple generations. I look forward to meeting you and earning your trust.” – Craig Herrington
The Solutions program requires a minimum investment, which varies by strategy. Ask your Financial Advisor for a Disclosure Brochure, which further outlines the fees, services, exclusions, and disclosures associated with this program. Since all investment decisions in a Solutions account are made by the Financial Advisor without having to receive prior client approval, it is important that Solutions clients have detailed knowledge of the Financial Advisor’s individual investment philosophy and decision-making process before entrusting him or her with their portfolio. You should consider all terms and conditions before deciding whether the Solutions Program and any particular strategy are appropriate for your needs.
Dave has more than 35 years of experience guiding clients on their retirement, cash flow, investment, and estate planning needs. By nature, he has taken a low-pressure, educational approach to building his business. He enjoys the time spent in conversation with his clients to better understand their goals and financial disposition. Dave’s primary mission is to establish lifelong relationships as he guides clients and their families toward smart financial decisions, with a focus on seeking to grow assets and maintain a proper income stream during retirement.
Rather than seek an early retirement himself, Dave chooses to continue doing what he loves –helping others work toward solving complex financial puzzles. He and his wife, Debbie, maintain homes in both Southwest Michigan and Southwest Florida, where they spend time with grandkids and boat to area beaches, always on the hunt for the world’s best grouper sandwich.
“The object of life is not to achieve some particular net worth target, but to identify your wealth’s purpose and have some fun along the way!” – Dave Kinney
